Obudu is cold – especially in the mornings and evenings. Think of it like a Nigerian version of a mini European hill station. Expect mist, wind, and cool nights. But daytime can get a little sunny too.

🧳 1. Essentials for Everyone

• ✅ Valid ID card (National ID / Voter's Card / Intl. Passport) There are so many immigration checkpoints on the road to Obudu.
• ✅ Power bank (no guarantees on constant electricity), cords, chargers, and extension.
• ✅ MTN SIM card (Only MTN works reliably in Obudu)
• ✅ Toiletries (towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, etc.)
• ✅ Water bottle (stay hydrated during hikes)
• ✅ Basic medication (paracetamol, motion sickness tablets, balm, allergy pills etc.)
• ✅ Sunglasses, lip balm, and sunscreen
